The video game industry touches every aspect of modern life - from entertainment to education to defense to industry - games play a role in the way we interact with each other and the world around us. Cogswell College has been a leader in providing education in this dynamic field since early 1990 and can offer students a perspective on the needs of the industry that few other institutions possess. Cogswell College focuses on a collaborative, project-based learning experience. Students have numerous opportunities to build teams of game artists, engineers and audio specialists to take a game from concept to ship-ready. In addition, Cogswell helps students build a foundation in the essential entrepreneurial skills needed to take their games to market or launch their own game studios.
